How do I buy a gift certificate?
Gift certificates are purchased just like any other item in our store. You can pay for them using our standard payment method. Once purchased, the value of the gift certificate will be added to your gift certificate balance. If you have funds in your gift certificate balance, you will notice that the amount now shows on your My Account page, where you also see a link to a page where you can send a gift certificate to someone via email.
How do I send a gift certificate to someone?
To send a gift certificate to someone, you must have a gift certificate balance. Buy gift certificates to add to your balance. Then, follow the steps below:
- Log in (if you are not already logged in)
- Click the My Account link
- Click the link "Send a gift certificate to someone"
- Fill out the form
You'll have an opportunity to enter a brief message that will be included with the e-mail message Purple Rock will send to your recipient. Your gift certificate balance will be reduced by the amount you specify when you send the gift certificate. Once your recipient gets the e-mail message, s/he will be able to redeem the gift certificate to add to his/her gift certificate balance.
How do I use a gift certificate to buy Purple Rock beaded bra straps?
If you have funds in your gift certificate balance, you can use those funds to purchase other items in our store. During checkout, on the payment page, you'll see a box where you can enter the amount of your gift certificate balance you would like to apply to your purchase. Please note: if there is not enough in your gift certificate balance to cover the cost of your purchase, you will be asked to pay the rest. If you have more funds in your gift certificate balance than the total cost of your purchase, the balance remaining after the purchase is deducted will be left in your gift certificate balance for the future.
What do I do to redeem a gift certificate?
After receiving an e-mail message telling you someone has sent you a gift certificate, all you have to do is log in to our website to redeem your gift certificate, adding it to your gift certificate balance automatically, and making it available for use with your next purchase. If you do not yet have a login, when you create an account with us, your gift certificate will be automatically added to your gift certificate balance. Please note: the e-mail address you use to log in must match the e-mail address on your gift certificate message.
